How to set up a project on the Peer Review Portal

To begin a new project, click on ‘New Project’ on your dashboard to begin the review process.

PLEASE NOTE: Each section needs to be completed before you go to the next stage. The PRP automatically saves your changes but you need to check you have everything saved/uploaded before going forward.

STEP 1: NAME YOUR PROJECT

Fill in the project information. You can add the Field of Education and Classification to the review if these details are important to your project. Next, choose the type of project you would like to create.

STEP 2: PAY FOR YOUR PROJECT

You can pay for the project three ways: 1) pay with credits through subscription; 2) pay by credit card; and 3) delegate payment authority to someone else. Each review project is $90+GST (AUD). An invoice will be sent to the project owner.

STEP 3: ADD COLLABORATORS

You can add collaborators to your review project when setting up the project. Collaborators support the Project Owner in the uploading of evidence, questionnaire configuration and invitation of reviewers. Collaborators can also view all reviewer submitted data.

STEP 4: UPLOAD EVIDENCE

Now, you need to collect and upload evidence for your review. With each evidence upload, choose a document type, add a title for your document and upload the document or add the URL. You can continue to add documents as you need.

When uploading assessment tasks, the student work sample section will automatically come up so that the assessment task is aligned to the student work samples. If you would like to delegate someone else to add the evidence, you can add their name or email. You can delegate others to upload, but only one at a time.

STEP 5: SELECT YOUR QUESTIONNAIRE

Next, you need to choose your questionnaire template and measure (e.g. 5 scale, Yes, but no but) or you can customise your own. You can also request your own institutional questionnaire to be uploaded. Contact [email protected] and attach your institutional questionnaire.

Click on finalise configuration so that you can finalise your project ready for reviewers.

STEP 6: INVITE YOUR REVIEWERS AND COLLABORATORS

Now, you can search the PRP for reviewers. You can search by name, institution or email. You can also send them an email to confirm if they are able to do a review for you. If you don’t know your reviewer but working with other institutions, you can use the ‘self join’ link to send to reviewers/or others to join to become a reviewer.

STEP 7: YOUR PROJECT IS UP AND RUNNING…

Now you can sit back and monitor the reviewers’ comments as your project is now in progress.
